In this enforcement proceeding, OSC staff alleges that Oscar Furtado and companies he controls defrauded investors, and that he misled staff when he was questioned during their investigation.

OSC staff says that the witness summary Furtado provided to them does not meet the standard required by the Tribunal, because it does not provide sufficient disclosure of the topics Furtado will talk about when he testifies or the documents that he may talk about.

The Tribunal agreed and ordered Furtado to provide a new witness summary.
